The 19th Island

Where time
does
not exist

What if there was an 19th (yet to be discovered) Faroe Island, where time does not exist? How would we explain to the people of that island what time is?

In April and May — together with the pupils of schools in Kvívík, Nólsoy, Sumba and Tvøroyri — we researched time in the landscape, our personal lives and in the Faroese culture.

We went outside to collect, mark, perform the evidence of time existing in nature and home towns.

All the materials formed an exhibition telling the many stories of time being part of our lives.
